Wings

In this story, two young men from different social backgrounds—one wealthy and the other from a middle-class family—find themselves enamored with the same woman. As they join the US Air Corps and rise to become celebrated fighter pilots during World War I, their deep friendship is tested by their shared affection for her. Meanwhile, back home, a girl who has been infatuated with one of the men since childhood watches from the sidelines, longing for his attention.
