When Julián’s old friend Tomás, who resides in Canada, unexpectedly visits him in Madrid, their reunion is a mix of joy and sorrow. Julián, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, is preoccupied with settling his affairs, whereas Tomás clings to a sense of hope. Over the course of four eventful days, the pair, along with Julián’s loyal dog Truman, explore the city, experiencing a range of emotional, humorous, and unexpected moments together.
