Thuong nho dong quê

In a quaint village in North Vietnam, a story unfolds about self-discovery and an evolving love triangle. The narrative follows Nham, a diligent and dependable 17-year-old rural youth; Ngu, his charming yet isolated sister-in-law, who works alongside him in the fields; and Quyen, a lively and fashionable expatriate who has recently returned from the city, eager to reconnect with the village of her childhood. Although the trio is hesitant to express their emotions, the romance hinges on the understanding that their feelings are largely metaphorical. For Quyen, Nham embodies an innocence and a past she cannot reclaim, while for Nham, Quyen symbolizes a sophistication and future he may never achieve. Meanwhile, Ngu finds herself in a vulnerable and lonely position, caught between the two.
