The Trouble with Bliss

Morris Bliss, a 35-year-old played by Michael C. Hall, is stuck in a rut in New York City. He dreams of traveling but lacks the funds, is in need of employment but sees no opportunities, and continues to live with his widowed father. The early loss of his mother has left him emotionally closed off. However, when he becomes entangled in an uncomfortable relationship with Stephanie, an 18-year-old portrayed by Brie Larson and the daughter of an old classmate, Morris soon realizes that his stagnant life is beginning to change and evolve in much-needed ways.
