The Stone Boy

On a summer morning, 12-year-old Arnold Hillerman and his 17-year-old brother Eugene rise early on their family’s farm in Montana. In a nearby field, Arnold’s gun goes off by mistake, resulting in Eugene’s immediate death. Overwhelmed by emotions he doesn’t understand, Arnold is forced to navigate the grief of his family, which includes his irate father, his anxious mother, his confrontational uncle, and his kind, candid grandfather. Meanwhile, his family must also come to grips with Arnold’s role in the tragedy.
