The Emperor’s New Clothes
Banished from power, Napoleon concocts a scheme to reclaim his throne. He intends to switch identities with an ordinary man named Eugene Lenormand, secretly make his way back to Paris, and then have Lenormand expose the ruse, allowing Napoleon to resume his rule. However, the plan quickly unravels; the journey is more challenging than anticipated, and, more critically, Lenormand becomes too enamored with his new lifestyle to disclose the charade. As Napoleon awkwardly adapts to the life of a commoner, Lenormand indulges in lavish meals.
