The Dark Knight Returns: An Epic Fan Film

Drawing inspiration from the first issue of Frank Miller’s iconic 1986 comic series, director Wyatt Weed (“Shadowland,” “Four Color Eulogy”) presents his personal, unofficial interpretation of the Batman legend. A decade has passed since Bruce Wayne (portrayed by Weed) retired his Batman persona following Robin’s tragic demise at the hands of the Joker. However, with Gotham City now engulfed in a surge of violent crime, the 55-year-old wealthy philanthropist must contemplate whether the moment has come for the Dark Knight to make a comeback. This project is purely for entertainment and non-profit, with no affiliation to DC Comics or Time Warner.
