The Come Up

“The Come Up” follows the journey of a young comedian who faces numerous challenges while trying to succeed. Despite the negative influences of his friends, who often pressure him into making poor choices, he strives to resist the temptations of his environment. At one point, he is caught using drugs, involved in a robbery with his friends, and stealing, which leads to his mother kicking him out of the house. However, he has a supportive girlfriend who helps keep him grounded and focused. Throughout this tumultuous period, he performs stand-up comedy at clubs, where audiences often laugh at him rather than his jokes. Ultimately, he perseveres and achieves success as a comedian.
