Caroline Williams, a prominent travel writer on social media, is tasked with reporting on a century-old Christmas parade in the quaint town of Carte De Amor, New Mexico. Despite her initial lack of enthusiasm, she decides to go and encounters Oscar Ortiz, a high school music teacher. Oscar reveals to her a unique perspective on Christmas, filled with diverse traditions and significance. Over the course of the twelve days leading up to Christmas, Caroline rediscovers her affection for the holiday and discovers true love.
