The Black Cauldron

In this 1985 animated fantasy film directed by Richard Rich, a young pig-keeper named Taran embarks on a perilous quest to prevent a powerful artifact from falling into the hands of the malevolent Horned King. Alongside a motley crew of companions, Taran faces numerous challenges and discovers his own courage and heroism. Although the film did not receive any major awards, it is notable for being one of Disney’s darker and more ambitious animated projects of the era.
