Top Chef: Just Desserts

Top Chef: Just Desserts is a reality competition series from the United States, derived from the popular show Top Chef. It debuted on the Bravo cable network on September 15, 2010. This spin-off centers on pastry chefs who face off in various culinary challenges, specifically focusing on creating pastries and desserts. The show is produced by Magical Elves Productions, the same team behind Top Chef and Project Runway, and is distributed by Bravo and Tiger Aspect USA. Gail Simmons serves as the host, while Johnny Iuzzini, the head pastry chef at Jean-Georges, acts as the lead judge. The judging panel also includes Hubert Keller, the proprietor of Fleur de Lys and a finalist on Top Chef Masters, and Dannielle Kyrillos, an “entertaining expert and Editor-at-Large of DailyCandy.”
