The Legend of ShenLi

In a world where the ancient deities have perished, only one remains: Xingzhi, the solitary God of Action. For millennia, he has resided alone in the heavens, devoid of emotion and compassion. During a monumental clash between immortals and demons, Xingzhi single-handedly altered the course of the battle, vanishing without a trace thereafter.

Centuries pass in the blink of an eye. Shen Li, a radiant queen born with a pearl in the demon realm, leads a life of brilliance. However, as her thousandth birthday approaches, she finds herself ensnared by the prospect of a political marriage. Fleeing from this unwanted fate, Shen Li is struck down, reverting to her original phoenix form and plummeting to the mortal world, grievously injured. Mistaken for a plump chicken by a mortal vendor, she is stripped of her feathers and caged for sale while unconscious.

Their destinies become intricately intertwined through what appears to be a chance encounter.
