Rebellion

In 1916 Dublin, a band of young men and women find themselves caught up in the struggle for independence during the Easter Rising. The narrative kicks off with the onset of World War I, where initial hopes for a swift and triumphant campaign are quickly shattered, leading to social unrest and a surge in Irish nationalism. The ensuing chaos is experienced through the perspectives of a group of friends hailing from Dublin, Belfast, and London, each playing crucial yet opposing parts in the story of Ireland’s quest for independence.
