“Night Court” is a U.S. sitcom that was broadcast on NBC from January 4, 1984, to May 31, 1992. The show takes place during the night shift at a court in Manhattan, overseen by the unconventional and youthful Judge Harold T. “Harry” Stone. The series was the brainchild of comedy writer Reinhold Weege, who had earlier contributed to “Barney Miller” during the 1970s and early 1980s.
