Set in the 1920s and inspired by real events, this drama unfolds the poignant romance between Kim Woo Jin, a playwright with marital ties, and Yun Shim Duk, Korea’s pioneering soprano. Their paths cross while they are both students at Tokyo University. In 1926, Yun Shim Duk’s rendition of “Death Song” marked the debut of Korean pop music.
