Duck Dynasty is a reality TV show on A&E that follows the Robertson family, who gained wealth through their family-run business, Duck Commander, based in West Monroe, Louisiana. This company specializes in products for duck hunters, particularly the Duck Commander duck call. The Robertson men, including brothers Phil and Si, along with Phil’s sons Jase, Willie, and Jep, are famous for their long beards. The business started in a family shed where Phil Robertson spent 25 years crafting duck calls from Louisiana cedar trees. Today, his son Willie serves as the company’s CEO. The family was also featured in the series Benelli Presents Duck Commander and its spin-off Buck Commander, which continues to air on the Outdoor Channel.

The show has set multiple ratings records on A&E and across cable television, with the fourth season premiere attracting 11.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched nonfiction cable broadcast in history.
