Complications

John Ellis, a disenchanted emergency room physician living in the suburbs, experiences a profound change in his life after he steps in during a drive-by shooting. He manages to save a young boy’s life while fatally wounding one of the assailants. Upon realizing that the boy remains a target, John feels an overwhelming urge to protect him, no matter the consequences.
