Banished from his cherished Venice, Giacomo Casanova escapes to Paris at the beginning of the Enlightenment, aiming to leave his womanizing past behind. However, breaking old patterns proves difficult, and he encounters temptation at every turn, discovering both new prospects and challenges. This is part of Amazon’s fall 2015 pilot season, with only the pilot episode produced so far.
