Bad Girls
“Bad Girls” is a British TV drama that aired on ITV from June 1, 1999, to December 20, 2006. The show featured actors such as Simone Lahbib, Mandana Jones, Debra Stephenson, Linda Henry, and Jack Ellis, among others, over its eight-year duration. It was shown in 17 different countries and was created by Shed Productions, the same company behind “Footballers’ Wives” and “Waterloo Road.” The series is set in the fictional Larkhall women’s prison and combines both serious and lighter storylines centered around the inmates and staff of G Wing. In 2010, CBS Drama acquired the UK broadcast rights, and as of September 2012, the channel has been re-airing the series in a late-night slot.
