Backstrom

Detective Lieutenant Everett Backstrom is a blunt and unfiltered individual. Following a five-year stint in the traffic division due to his inappropriate conduct, he has made a comeback from disgrace to head Portland’s newly established Special Crimes Unit (S.C.U.). Charged with handling the city’s most delicate and grave cases, he is tasked with solving each crime while grappling with his own self-destructive tendencies. This series is inspired by the acclaimed books of the same name by Swedish criminologist and author Leif G.W. Persson.
