“Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” was an American travel and culinary show broadcast on the Travel Channel, and it also aired globally on the Discovery Travel & Living channel. In this series, host Anthony Bourdain explores various international destinations, cities around the globe, and locations within the United States, where he is introduced to local cultures and cuisines. The show debuted on the Travel Channel in 2005 and shared a similar format and content with Bourdain’s earlier Food Network series, “A Cook’s Tour,” which aired from 2001 to 2002. The Travel Channel announced that the ninth season would be the show’s last. Season 9 began on September 3, 2012, and concluded with its final episode on November 5, 2012.

A special episode titled “Anthony Bourdain in Beirut,” which aired between Seasons 2 and 3, was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Informational Programming in 2007. In 2009, the series won an Emmy for “Outstanding Cinematography For Nonfiction Programming.”
