Animal Kingdom

The series follows 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody, who relocates to live with his carefree relatives in a Southern California beach town following his mother’s fatal heroin overdose. The family is led by the formidable matriarch Janine “Smurf” Cody and her trusted lieutenant Baz, who manages the family’s operations and makes key decisions. The clan also includes Pope, the eldest and most menacing of the Cody brothers; Craig, the resilient and daring middle son; and Deran, the youngest, who is plagued by suspicion and inner turmoil.
