To validate his long-standing theory that people with disabilities, whom he refers to as “sensory enlightened,” possess the potential to access a sixth sense, elderly neuroscientist Dr. Frederik Amberger enlists the help of a talented graduate student named Jules Christopher. However, when it comes to light that Amberger has been concealing a secret that has put him on the FBI’s radar, Jules and the team are faced with a dilemma about the lengths they are willing to go to explore the next level of human sensory perception.
