Jeok-gwa-eui dong-chim

In June 1950, shortly after the Korean War begins, a group of North Korean soldiers arrives in a small South Korean village. Captain Jeong-woong announces that their mission is to free the villagers, but their real goal is to root out dissenters. To stay in the soldiers’ good graces, the villagers, including Seol-hee, who is parted from her fiancé on their wedding day, extend genuine hospitality and cooperation. Over time, bonds of friendship begin to form between the soldiers and the villagers.
