After the passing of Brian’s mother, he unexpectedly becomes the owner of The Sanctuary, her contentious facility designed for experimental addiction treatments. As Brian and his friends are guided through the rundown establishment by an enigmatic staff member, they sense an ominous atmosphere. Nevertheless, they venture into a hidden subterranean tunnel, uncovering a horrifying truth. Brian’s mother had developed an innovative device that successfully treated addictions, but it had an unintended consequence: it manifested the addictions as mutated child-like creatures with a craving for human flesh, which now inhabit the building.
