Young Rebekah is captivated by the figure known as Jesus, whom her neighbors speak of, and she is eager to listen to his teachings. However, her mother, Sarah, insists that Rebekah stay away from this man, whom some refer to as Master while others denounce as a heretic. Sarah is aware of the whispers about groups that intend to harm Jesus of Nazareth. Despite this, Rebekah remains determined and eventually invites Jesus to her home to meet her mother and grandfather—a seemingly small gesture that will alter the course of their lives forever.
