Get Married If You Can

“Cásese quien pueda” is a romantic comedy set in Mexico City and the jungles of Quintana Roo. The film follows two sisters with vastly different aspirations: one dreams of marriage, while the other is focused on advancing her career. However, unexpected twists lead them down unfamiliar paths. Ana Paula (played by Martha Higareda) is on the verge of getting married when she discovers her fiancé’s infidelity with her cousin. Distraught, she drinks heavily and accidentally falls asleep in the back of a truck belonging to a worker who returns to his hometown, a quaint village in Quintana Roo, that same night.
