Noah McManus is departing from his position at the Boston mayor’s office to pursue an ideal opportunity in Washington, D.C. However, in just one day, he discovers that his prospective employer in Washington is unable to hire him, and he learns that his girlfriend has been unfaithful. Heartbroken, Noah heads to a charming town in Cape Cod, where he surprisingly feels a sense of belonging.
