Dolphin Boy
Morad, a young man from an Arab village in northern Israel, withdraws from people after enduring a traumatic assault. In a final attempt to avoid psychiatric hospitalization, his caring father brings him to Eilat for dolphin therapy. After months of muteness, Morad begins to communicate again, yet he chooses to forget his past and declines to return to his mother, who is waiting for him at home. This documentary, filmed over four years, explores the profound impact of human violence on the soul and the restorative power of nature and love.
