From the emergence of jazz to the rise of hip hop, and from the birth of urban trends to groundbreaking technological progress, African Americans have been pivotal in shaping American culture. Sadly, they often do not reap the rewards of their own creative contributions. “Bleaching Black Culture” explores the ongoing appropriation of black culture in America and its impact on the African American community.
