Beyond the Heavens

Oliver, a perceptive 12-year-old, lives under the lingering sorrow of his parents’ grief over their first son’s death. Outwardly, his family seems normal, but internally, they are fractured. As they navigate their spiritual journey, Oliver is left to confront his own beliefs about God and ponder life’s profound questions: What is my purpose? What occurs after we die? Who is our creator? An angel, masquerading as an eccentric traveler, is dispatched to assist him in piecing together these existential puzzles. As Oliver’s quest for understanding leads him to explore scientific explanations, he ultimately learns that faith, rather than empirical evidence, is the path to discovering God.
