One evening, after dinner, Lonesome insists on going for a walk. Despite Demetris’s attempts to dissuade her, she remains adamant. It is at this juncture that Demetris makes a life-changing decision. If he takes Lonesome out, he will encounter Christina, his destined love. If he stays in, their paths will never cross.
