23 Minutes to Sunrise

As the saying goes, the darkest hour comes just before dawn, and at the Sunrise Diner, it’s indeed a late night. Four pairs of individuals converge at this secluded 24-hour eatery, but appearances can be deceiving. Among them are a middle-aged couple facing a life crisis, a cook who believes he’s finally finding his path, a waitress trapped in a toxic relationship, and a young punk with his girlfriend who see this as their final stop before entering a new world of imagined comfort. However, the most enigmatic figures are a mysterious stranger and a young girl who seem out of place in this reality. This film explores themes of shattered dreams, missed chances, love, fear, and mortality.
